The Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and Homeland Security moved to amend the bill on page five, section five, line nineteen, by striking the period after the word “extension” and inserting the words “Provided further, that the subcommittee, in its sole discretion, may grant an additional extension upon demonstration of a hardship warranting it ; and”;

On page five and six by striking lines twenty-seven through thirty-seven; and”;

On page six, line forty-one, by striking the period after the word “requirements,” and inserting the words “and successfully passes the approved entry level law enforcement examination.
